PESHAWAR - A moderate intensity earthquake of 5.4 magnitude was felt in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, sending shock waves among people on Saturday. The earthquake jolted Swat, Lower Dir, Malakand, Shangla, Chitral and several other parts of the province and FATA. However, no loss of life or property was reported from any area. The epicentre of the earthquake was in the Hindu Kush mountain range at the depth of 60km, which caused fear among the residents of these areas.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
