Islamabad- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has constituted a special five-member cabinet committee to observe ceremonies regarding the Independence Day.
According to a press release, the committee will be led by Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique while Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed, Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural resources Jam Kamal Khan and Special Assistant of Prime Minister Irfan Siddiqui will be its members.
The country-wide ceremonies from August 1 to 30 have been dedicated to martyrs of Tehreek-e-Pakistan and Shuhada of war against terrorism. The cabinet committee will finalize programmes regarding the Independence Day but will also work for coordination among federal ministries and provincial governments.
