I know much about memo, says Yasin

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Yasin Malik has claimed that he sha-res information about the memogate which can help resolve the political crisis generated by the disputed letter in Pakistan, reported the BBC. “I know so many things. If I am provided an opportunity to appear before the court, my statement will reveal the truth for which people in the whole Subcontinent are waiting,” Malik told the BBC.
Pakistani national Mushaal Malik, the wife of the JKLF chairman, has also submitted an application to the memo commission that his husband should be allowed before the panel so as to enable him reply to the allegations levelled against him.
The appearance of Yasin’s name in the controversy has now also included a Kashmir perspective in the issue.
The JKLF chief through his lawyer Zafar Shah has asked Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in a four-page application that his appearance before the memo commission will give a meaningful help in resolving the matter. The application says Mansoor Ijaz has tried to defame Yasin previously as well, while sources say they had also exchanged harsh words ten years back.
