State Minister and JUI-F leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri said that peace could only be restored in Karachi until all the political parties voluntarily disband their militant wings.
“We believe in dialogues which is the only solution to the prevailing situation. He was addressing “Tahafuz Madaris Conference” at Kamra Kalan, almost 20 km away from Attock. He said that the Constitution was formulated almost four decades ago but Shariah could not be implemented for which the leaders of ruling parties were responsible.
He also condemned the Pakistan Protection Ordinance and said that it would deprive people of basic rights. He said all religious parties including JUI-F had opposed the bill. He said, “We are in favour of dialogues with Taliban but the govt has failed to take us into confidence.”
