RAHIM YAR KHAN - First national solidarity Mushaira (poetry) was held at the lawns of Sheikh Zayed public school here the other night. Renowned poets from around the country participated in it. Famous poets Iftikhar Arif, Amjad Islam Amjad, Saleem Kosar, Abbas Tabish, Khalid Masood, Wasi Shah, Shakir Shuja Abadi, Shakeel Jazeeb, Nasir Mehmood Lala, Ameen Babur, Saba Waheed, Khalid Javed, Shahbaz Nayyar, Dr Ishfaq Nasir, Dr Athar Kabeer, Tabish Alwari and many others read out their poetry. On the occasion, Amjad Islam Amjad said that Rahim Yar Khan is a model district of Punjab and Rahim Yar Khan is developed in industry, agriculture, education, health and all other departments. DCO Dr Ahmed Javed Qazi welcomed the participants and poets at the first solidarity Mushaira.
