Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial announced early establishment of a new judicial complex where all the Pasrur courts and lawyers’ chambers would be shifted.
Talking to a delegation of Pasrur Bar Association, the chief justice said that a post of additional district and sessions judge Pasrur and two posts of two civil judges would also be created soon for Pasrur to ensure speedy justice.
Pasrur Bar Association President Salamat Ali Bajwa, the delegation called on him at his office in Lahore. The chief justice said that the process of land acquisition, construction and inauguration would be completed soon. He also pledged to provide books for the library of Pasrur bar.
He said the rule of law is a must for national development, prosperity, peace and justice. He stressed a need for making an all-out effort to provide better working atmosphere in all the courts with a sole aim to dispense the speedy justice. He said that pleasant atmosphere is vital to bring betterment in working of the judiciary. He also vowed to ensure merit in the dispensation of justice.
He stressed a need for strengthening the national institutions through ensuring the rule of law and bringing further betterment in the judicial system. He said that the institutions could only be strengthened by ensuring the implementation of Constitution and the law.
