Karachi: Four men arrested for a gruesome attack on an Ismaili community bus have now confessed to killing activist Sabeen Mahmud, police said today.

The arrested suspects had previously confessed to carrying out the massacre on the bus, killing 46 members of the minority community.

A private TV channel quoting Police sources said that the latest confessions were taken in the presence of Rangers paramilitary force and security personnel.

They said that the top civilian and military leadership, including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army chief General Raheel Sharif, have been informed of the development.
