ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tuesday urged the US for cessation of drone strikes as such events are generating distrust among the local populace. Condemning a US drone strike in the Spinkai Raghzai area of North Waziristan Agency on Monday last, which according to Foreign Office spokesperson, is in disregard of our territorial sovereignty and international law.  “These events also generate distrust among the local populace. We reiterate our call for cessation of such strikes,” the spokesperson added.
