Fawad Hassan appointed Secretary to PM

ISLAMABAD: Senior officer of Pakistan Administrative Service Group, Fawad Hassan Fawad has been appointed as secretary to Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

According to notification issued on Friday, Fawad Hassan Fawad, an officer of grade 21, serving as Additional Secretary to PM has been appointed as Secretary in place of Javed Aslam as he has assumed new responsibilities.

Fawad Hassan is one among the most experienced and competent officers and has served with Nawaz Sharif at PM Secretariat in 1997, during second tenure of the PML-N government.

During his carrier, he also served at key positions including Commissioner, Commercial Attaché in Frankfurt Germany, Secretary Health Punjab, Secretary Excise and Taxation, Secretary Communications.

Sources said that more appointments and transfers were expected in the federal bureaucracy during next week.
