Jahanian: A suspected robber was killed, while his accomplice was arrested in injured condition during an alleged police encounter within the Jahanian police jurisdiction.

As per details, police raided the Chak no115 an area of Jahanian, when three armed robbers started indiscriminate firing at police personnel.

In a retaliatory firing by police one robber Shan was seriously injured and his accomplice was arrested . Third robber who was identified as Shahzad managed to escape from the scene.

The police shifted injured dacoit Shan to hospital wherein he succumbed to injuries..

The police claimed to have recovered motorcycle from the robbers possession.
