London- British newspaper “The Mail” says Britain has rejected allegations by Imran Khan that international development aid given by it to Pakistan was going into the pockets of corrupt politicians.
Imran Khan had said that the aid was being misused and making the rich Pakistanis billionaire. A spokesman for the UK International Development termed the allegation as baseless and said there was no truth in it. The spokesman said that the utilization of British aid is closely monitored and it reaches the right people.  He said the British aid is improving the conditions in Pakistan.
