KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal called on Dr Ishratul Ibad to form a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and inquiry commission to probe the allegations of corruption he levelled against Kamal a day earlier.
Talking to reporters here, Kamal said that Karachi would not witness prosperity until the Sindh governor is “brought to justice for his crimes”.
“There is a dire need to bring Ishratul Ibad to justice for his crimes and suspicion surrounding his personality,” the PSP chief told reporters.
“Ishratul Ibad’s name needs to be included in the Exit Control List (ECL) and he should be arrested.
Governor Sindh’s dual nationality and British passport should also be exposed to the masses.”
The former Karachi mayor claimed that an investigation would find the governor as the main culprit behind the Baldia town tragedy, Kamal said, adding: “Ishratul Ibad directly monitored a control room during the May 12 carnage in Karachi.”
