The termination of talks by the Indian government is childish: Aam Aadmi Party

SRINAGAR- Aam Aadmi Party has dismayed over the decision of the government of India to call off the foreign secretary level talks between India and Pakistan that were scheduled for August 25 in Islamabad.

In a statement, AAP National Executive Member Dr Raja Muzaffar Bhat said the termination of talks on the grounds that a Kashmiri separatist leader met with Pakistani Foreign Secretary is completely a childish act.

“When a senior Indian journalist Dr Ved Prakash Vedik can meet Hafiz Sayeed in Pakistan, why can’t Kashmiri leaders meet Pakistani officials?” Dr Muzaffar questioned.
