THATTA: At least nine people including women and children were killed and more than 48 others were injured today, when a passenger van collided with a truck in Thatta district of Sindh province.

According to details, the van was heading to Shahadat Kot from Karachi when the unfortunate incident occurred near Jharak in Thatta.

The dead include five children and three women. All the injured were shifted to Thatta civil hospital and were provided medical aid, but 10 critically injured people were shifted to Karachi.
