NAROWAL - A woman gave birth to an abnormal child having three legs at a local hospital on Sunday night.
Abida, wife of Muhammad Riaz, a resident of Shakargarh, had been admitted to the Sughra Shafi Medical Complex, Narowal, where she went into labour. She had to be operated upon. According to Hospital Superintendent Dr Syed Ali Imran, the baby is quite healthy having 2.3kg weight.
He said the child had three legs, two rectums and was without genital parts so it could not be ascertained whether the baby was a male or female. He said the baby needed complicated surgery to be a normal child.
