ISLAMABAD- Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan today said the terror threat in Pakistan requires great vigilance as “the sympathizers and supporters of these terrorists live among us.”
Commenting on the attack in Peshawar, Nisar said that Pakistan Army never targeted women and children.
“The Pakistan Army is highly responsible and disciplined,” Nisar said.
“Even Osama bin laden’s family was sent back to their countries in a dignified manner,” he added.
Speaking at a press conference today, he said Pakistanis have been dealing with the threat of terrorism for many years now.
“To fight terrorism, every Pakistani citizen has to play his part,” he said. He urged all citizens to be vigilant with regards to the terror threat.
“90 percent of the madrassas have no connection to terrorism,” he claimed.
