QUETTA - Unidentified armed assailants killed two persons in the provincial capital on Monday night.According to police, Muhammad Daud and Rehmat were sitting in a medical store near Kasi Road when two armed men riding a motorbike appeared and opened indiscriminate firing on them. As a result, both sustained serious injuries and were being shifted to hospital but they succumbed to their injuries before getting medical aid. The assailants fled from the scene after committing the crime under the cover of darkness. ‘The incident seems to be a case of enmity, however, investigation into the killing is underway to unearth real motive behind the killings’, a police official said ,adding, that the victims belonged to an Afghan family.Police after completing legal formalities handed over the bodies to heirs and started further investigations.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
