Engine of PIA plane catches fire midair

karachi - Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Wednesday had to recall its Jeddah-bound plane after fire broke out in one of its engines. According to details, pilot of Karachi-Jeddah PIA flight PK-735 told the control tower about fault in engine number two of the plane a few minutes after take-off. The pilot switched off the affected engine and brought the flight back to Karachi airport for a safe landing.
The aircraft was carrying 465 passengers on board.
