Lyari gangster arrested from Peshawar

PESHAWAR - Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) Peshawar have claimed the arrest of Karachi Lyari gang war ring leader Rashid Baloch alias Chichi.
“The gangster Rashid Baloch son of Muhammad Ilyas was arrested during a joint targeted raid of the CTD and IB officials in provincial metropolis Peshawar on Saturday, as he did apply for renewal of his National Identity Card (CNIC) in NADRA office and also an application was given for acquiring of his passport.
The accused Chichi, a ring leader of Karachi Lyari gang war Noor Muhammad Baba Ladla group, was wanted to police in the target killing of rangers, police and important personalities, extortion and running gambling dens and other criminal activities, CTD officials claimed.
The gangster Chichi, a resident of House 1186, street No 07 Islam Road Akseer Lane Lyari, Karachi, was presently living in Ramdas Chowk main Kohar road, in the limit of Police Station Bhanamari.
The CTD officials informed that the arrested accused Chichi was declared a ‘most-wanted criminal’ by the Sindh government.
The accused of Lyari gang during initial interrogation said that due to Rangers operation in Karachi against terrorists and criminals, he managed to escape to Peshawar and now attempted to flee abroad, the officials added.
