BAHAWALPUR - The Islamia University Bahawalpur has launched Summer Programme-2011 during the vacations to introduce 108 short courses and workshops in 11 various departments and constituent colleges. This programme has been started on the directive of the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar to the maximum usage of available resources in the varsity providing opportunity to local youth to enhance their knowledge and skill. The departments and colleges offering these short courses include College of Agriculture & Environmental Sciences, College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences and departments of Applied Psychology, Commerce, Management Sciences, Computer Sciences, and Information Technology, English, Mathematics, Geography, Media Studies and Pharmacy. The application forms can be obtained from the Academic Branch, Abbasia Campus, IUB or downloaded from the university website www.iub.edu.pk. Last date to submit applications is Friday, July 22, 2011.
