ISLAMABAD: The Senate standing committee’s members on Tuesday burst into laughter when Chairman Senate’s standing committee on Religious Affairs Senator Hamdullah asked Qandeel Baloch be made a member of Ruet -e-Hilal committee.

Hamdullah took a jibe at Mufti Abdul Qavi when his photos with model Qandeel Baloch became viral on social media.

He further said that if so-called clerics like Qavi can be a part of committee who make selfies with Qandeel Baloch then the latter be also accorded its membership.

Hereafter, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousuf replied that if you recommend then they would include her in Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
