Govt cant be toppled by undemocratic means: PPP

PESHAWAR (APP) - Pakistan Peoples Party, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, President Senator Sardar Ali Khan said on Sunday the government could not be changed through undemocratic means and illegal methods and the PPP coalition government would complete its tenure. Talking to media after Qurankhwani and Fateha for departed soul of Mother of Democracy, Begum Nusrat Bhutto Shaheed at the residence of Khyber Pakthunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industries Vice President Fazal Elahi,Senator Sardari Ali said change in governments setup through undemocratic means could only be a dream of anti PPP forces and it could not be fulfilled. He said election would be held in 2013 after completion of tenure of the government. He said party organization would be announced shortly. To a question with future election alliance with ANP, he said every decision would be taken with mutual consultation. Sardar said alliance with ANP and other like minded parties are possible. Ali said coalition government in Khyber Pakthunkhwa had bravely faced challenges and commended sacrifices of security forces, political workers and people. He said PPP has always welcomed positive criticism. To a question on alleged memo, he said Ambassador Hussain Haqqabi has been summoned and the issue would be resolved amicably.
