Youth advised to take active part in politics

GUJRANWALA - PML-N Women Wing Punjab President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has urged the youth to come forward and take part in politics for the sake of country. She regretted that politics of ‘reconciliation’ had led to debacle of the entire system and enriched only the corrupt lot of rulers. The corruption free youth can change the fate of Pakistan and Mian Nawaz Sharif is the only leader who can lead and has the ability to put it on the path to development and prosperity.
Maryam Nawaz stated this while addressing the annual prize distribution ceremony of Jamiatul Banat Degree College Model Town Tuesday afternoon. Ilm-o-Sanat Trust Chairman Ch Khurshid A Aziz chaired the ceremony while it was attended by former federal minister Ghulam Dastgir Khan, MNA Shaheen Ashfaq, MPA Muhammad Saeed Mughal, Shazia Ashfaq, Ch MA Qayyum, Azher Aslam, Kashif A Aziz and others.
Speaking to the audience, Maryam Nawaz Sharif advised that students should acquire modern education and excel extra-curricular activities so that they can play a dynamic role in the future politics of the country in a healthy manner. The Punjab government has been facilitating the students by all means to make them useful citizens of the society and prepare them grapple with challenges of modern era effectively. Laptop distribution scheme, Daanish Schools, IT culture and provision of missing facilities in the public sector schools are among the revolutionary steps the Punjab government has taken so far which will bear fruit in near future, she expressed her hope.
Later, Maryam Nawaz distributed medals, shields and certificates among position-holders.
