SARGODHACivil Judge Tahir Aslam on Monday issued stay orders against the CM directives for the transfer of Anti-Corruption Establishment Circle Officer and summoned the Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment Director General for November 11, 2014. As per details, ACE Sargodha Circle Officer Tanveer Amjad filed a petition through his counsel Advocate Meher Zafar Ejaz Lak in the court of Civil Judge Tahir Aslam. He submitted that he had initiated a vigorous crackdown on timber mafia in the Forest Department and seized three trailers of stolen log. He claimed that but the influential timber mafia pulled their strings in corridors of power and allegedly got him transferred from Sargodha to hamper all investigation proceedings. After hearing the application, the civil court released stayed the transfer orders and asked the ACE circle officer to continue his work.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
