Islamabad- Syed Khursheed Shah, Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly, said today that he has decided to initiate legal proceedings against PTI’s chairman Imran Khan.
Talking at media at the Parliament House here, Shah said that the time given to Khan under the defamation notice for an apology is expiring in the next couple of days.
“Imran has yet to tender an apology for leveling allegations he could not prove,” he added. He said afterwards he would initiate legal proceedings against Khan. Talking about electoral reforms, Shah said that his party has convened a meeting tomorrow to discuss election reforms. Shah, who belongs to Pakistan People’s Party, had served a notice to Khan in end-September after PTI chief leveled corruption against allegations against him.
