CHINIOT: Police foiled a major terror bid today by seizing weapons and drugs and arresting two accused in Chiniot.

Police received information about a group, which was trying to smuggle huge cache of weapons from Sargodha to Lahore through Chiniot.

Taking action, police setup a check post on Sargodha road Darbar Wadi Aziz Sharif and searched an apparently suspicious vehicle. At least 19 rifles, 69 pistols, 22,000 bullets were recovered from the car while two suspects were arrested. The suspects were shifted to undisclosed place for investigation.
