JUI-F to contest polls from MMA platform I Sa

SADIQABAD - The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazlur Rehman will contest the forthcoming general elections from the platform of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Aml, a religious parties' alliance, said the JUI-F central deputy secretary general."Many renowned personalities of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa and Balochistan have defected the two biggest parties of the country and joined the JUI-F. However, Many others from the Punjab and Sindh provinces contacted with us to join our party. JUI-F will field strong candidates with strategy across the country while seat-adjustment will be made at the federal level and not at provincial and district levels," said Maulana Muhammad Yousuf while talking to the media on his return from a party meeting in Rahim Yar Khan. "Soon, the MMA will be reestablished and the JUI will contest elections from the MMA platform."He said that the religious parties' alliance was being reinstated on the people's strong insistence, adding that all the religious parties of the country will join it. He claimed that a number of politicians from the Punjab and Sindh will soon join his party, thereby strengthening his party and giving a message to the world powers to stop interfering in Pakistan's affairs. He said that his party's purpose was to adopt independent foreign policy and to bring economic stability in the country so that capitalists could bring their investment back to the country. Thus, he added, Pakistan will not only strengthen but also start making progress. He was of the view that four big parties were responsible for the national crises and these parties were unwilling to see peace and stability in the country. However, he suggested, only independent foreign policy could stop these parties from interfering in national affairs.
