Islamabad: The government has told the senate that the government is working on the project to set up 1000 villages through the Apna Ghar Scheme.

In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) the government is taking consultation with companies to set up an oil refinery and the petroleum products prices have set across the country according to the recommendations of Oil and Gas Regulation Authority (OGRA) and the Zakat is distributing according to population ratio in four provinces.

While responding a question in the Senate Jam Kamal has said that six companies have expressed their willingness to set up oil refineries and the companies have been briefed, while provincial government has also expressed its motivation to set up an oil refinery in the province. He further said the companies expressed their will to set up oil refinery have already rendering their services in education, health, communication and other departments. 

While responding a question federal minister for housing Akram Khan Durrani has said that since 1995 the government has banned to establish new houses, now we sent a summery to Prime Minister to initiate flats instead of homes in Islamabad and we are waiting for PM’s reply. He further said that the Apna Ghar Scheme has been formulated after announcement of PM and through which funds will distribute across the country to establish homes on five marla land and in this regard the letters have been written to the four provinces. He further said in the urban areas flats will set up while in rural area the home will establish.

Sardar Yousuf Federal Minister for religious affairs while responding a question said that Zakat was distributing across the four provinces according to NFC awards know it is distributing according to population ratio. After the distribution it is up to four provinces that how they distribute the Zakat in their domain.
