Govt will assist Amir for establishing boxing academy: Riaz Hussain Pirzada

Islamabad: Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada has said, full cooperation will be extended to British boxer of Pakistani origin Amir Khan, for establishing boxing academy in the country.
According to sources, he lauded the step taken by Amir Khan for promotion of boxing in Pakistan. Pirzada said that Amir Khan will be assisted at all levels for construction of boxing academy.
Answering a question, the minister said no file regarding the academy was received at his ministry so far, however the ministry will look into the matter as the relevant file is received.
However, he said anyone launching a project has to follow the rules and regulations.
Pakistan born British boxer has recently said that he is facing legal problems in setting up academy in the country.
