Islamabad - The petition seeking the name of model Ayyan Ali on Exit Control List (ECL) was dismissed by a local court yesterday due to incomplete documents.
Justice Noor-ul-Haq N Qureshi conducted the hearing of the petition. A citizen Arshad Mehmood Butt had approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in this regard.
Currently, the model is facing a money smuggling case and a court has awarded her bail.
During the hearing, Justice Qureshi said that the petitioner is not an aggrieved party and therefore he does not have the right to file the plea. He also added that there are no customs and income tax documents attached with the petition. Subsequently, the court while maintaining the objections raised by the registrar office rejected the petition.
