Blast derails train in Naseerabad

QUETTA - A bomb explosion on a railway track near Dera Murad Jamali of Nasirabad district derailed three coaches of Akbar Bugti Express on Saturday.
Pakistan Railways Quetta sources said that unidentified miscreants had planted an explosive device beside the railway track which went off as Akbar Bugti Express was passing through.
According to reports, the bomb device planted at the track was detonated through a remote-controlled device causing derailment of three bogies of the train, carrying passengers from Lahore to Quetta.
The train avoided a major disaster due to its slow speed, the railway authorities said. No loss of human life was reported.
Police said 15 to 20 kilograms explosive material was used in the blast. The blast damaged 15 feet portion of the railway track causing suspension of the railway traffic, officials said.
Security forces and police officials reached the site soon after the incident and cordoned off the area, sources added.
Railways staff had been dispatched along with cranes to put the derailed bogies on track, sources said.

OFFICE IN KHLU
A time bomb exploded near Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) office in Khlu area of Balochistan Saturday, no causality was reported.
According to Levies force, unknown men planted a time device bomb near the PML-N office which exploded.
The wall of office was damaged and no loss of life was reported.
Levies force reached the site and started investigation.
Meanwhile, unknown armed men shot dead a man in Turbat on Saturday.
According to police, the victim identified as Ijaz Ahmad resident of Baghicha was on way to somewhere on a motorbike when armed assailants opened fire on him and fled from the scene. As a result, he died on the spot.
The body of the deceased was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities.
The reason of killing could not be ascertained so far. Police have registered a case.
