Unidentified assailants entered a house in Raheedabad locality and murdered a woman along with her two daughters and a son here the other day.
According to details, Shamim, her two daughters - namely Iram, Kiran, son Salman and her father-in-law Amanat Ali were in the house. In the meanwhile, unidentified assailants barged into the house and stabbed the woman and her children to death with a sharp edged weapon. The accused also critically injured Amanat when he attempted to intervene. On information, the police reached the spot and shifted the dead bodies and the injured to DHQ Hospital. The Civil Lines Police have registered a case and started investigation.
It is to be noted that husband of the deceased woman Ehsaan has been abroad in connection with livelihood.
No motive could be ascertained so far for the gruesome incident.
