QUETTA - Two more polio cases surfaced in Quetta Saturday, bringing its number to 72 in the province.
The two affected are identified one-year-old Hassan from Kuchlak and one-and-half-year-old Asfandyar from Killi Shabu. “Two children of Quetta were found affected when they were brought to hospital,” officials of health department said.
He added that they were administered anti-polio drops after their birth. Seventy-two cases of polio have been confirmed in different districts of Balochistan, including Quetta, Qila Abdullah and Pishin, for the last 13 months.
