After a month-long struggle, the Daska police have arrested mastermind in the famous case of beheading newlywed love marriage couple.
Daska DSP Eng Rana Zahid Hussain told that the accused namely Dilshad alias Kulla had been at large after the tragic incident. He said that the police had arrested him from a hideout in the outskirts of Daska.
The DSP added that the police would produce the main accused Dilshad in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Gujranwala on Tuesday (today) for getting his physical remand in this case.
Dilshad along with his wife Bashiran Bibi, father Ghulam Hussain and two brothers Shamshad and Iqbal Hassan had beheaded his real daughter Mafia Bibi (23) and her husband Sajjad after kidnapping them from house as a punishment for contracting love marriage on June 26 night just after a week of their love marriage.
According to police, during preliminary investigation, Dilshad has confessed to have beheaded his real daughter and her husband for love marriage. He told the police that he had no remorse for his crime.
