Seven injured in Quetta roadside bomb blast

QUETTA: At least seven people, including two children were injured in a roadside bomb blast today.

Police said that unidentified miscreants had planted explosive material by roadside in Sariab Road area of the provincial Quetta which exploded. As a result of the explosion, seven people present near the scene sustained wounds who were shifted to civil hospital for treatment.

Police said that about two kilograms of explosive material was used in the blast. Shops near the site of the blast were also damaged. The police cordoned off the area after the blast and launched search operation but no arrest was made.
