ISLAMABAD - The four government members of bipartisan Parliamentary Committee for the formation of caretaker PM on Thursday briefed Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on the second day’s proceedings of the Committee and their interaction with the Opposition members in this regard.The government’s members of Parliamentary Committee, negotiating for the caretaker Prime Minister with the Opposition members, called on Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf here at the PM House.They briefed the Prime Minister about the second day’s proceedings of the committee and their interaction with the Opposition members in this regard. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Ghulam Ahmed Bilour, Farooq H. Naek and Syed Khursheed Shah briefed the Prime Minister about the discussions on the names of the caretaker Prime Minister.Earlier, the government’s Committee members held a meeting with Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi, Parvez Rasheed, Khawaja Saad Rafique and Sardar Yaqoob Nasir of the Opposition on the second day to discuss the names of caretaker Prime Minister in accordance with the Constitutional requirements. This eight-member Parliamentary Committee, four from the government side and four from the Opposition side, had been formed to finalise the name of caretaker Prime Minister with consensus.
