LAHORE- Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, has provided economic security to families of fifty thousand Lady Health Workers and Lady Health Supervisors, through passing the bill from Punjab Assembly for the regularization of LHWs.
Moreover, notification regarding 3 year contract to be followed by regularization of 2800 nurses working on ad hoc basis will make them perform their duties with more dedication, commitment for improving public health care system and serving patients in a focused manner.
These views were expressed by Principal Postgraduate Medical Institute/Amir-ud-Din Medical College Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra in a statement, here today. He said that today on the eve of Pakistan Day, every one associated with health sector must resolve to work according with the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in order to curb dengue, measles and other diseases from the province.
He said that Chief Minister Punjab has fulfilled the long awaited demand of the health workers. He said that both decisions are revolutionary steps which would helpful in improving Healthcare Delivery System, prevention of diseases and for the success of Mother Neonatal and Child Health. He hoped that now LHWs and nurses would render their responsibilities for the service of ailing humanity with dedication and professional zeal.
