APML geared up to contest LG polls: Musharraf

Karachi- Former president Pervez Musharraf has said, holding of mid-term elections and installation of interim set-up in the country is possible.
Speaking at a gathering in Karachi, the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) chief said, all cases filed against him were based on political grounds. APML will fully contest the upcoming local government elections, he announced.
He said it was the need of the hour to have a government with capability to run the country. The APML chief said, people were leaving the country after hopelessness.
Those who ruled the nation three to four times cannot bring development to the country, he underlined. The former president expressed regret over brain drain of youngsters from the country.
