Lahore- Punjab University has cancelled the Bachelors degree of Abdul Qadir Gilani.
Abdul Qadir was in the session 2005-6 of B.A and during the exams, he was caught cheating and U.M.C case was registered against him. Former PM Yousaf Raza Gilani met the than vice chancellor of university Arshad Mehmood and influenced him to issue degree to his son. The university administration has set up a five members committee to probe the degree issue.
