GUJRANWALA -A man allegedly gunned down his wife and father-in-law over a domestic issue here in the remit of Sabzi Mandi Police on Saturday.
The police said that there were some differences between Qaisar and his wife Musarat due to which she had gone to her parents house some two weeks ago. On Saturday, Qaiser went to his in-laws house and asked his wife to go with him. However, the woman refused at which he got angry and opened fire due to which his wife and father-in-law Anayat Ullah got bullet injuries and were rushed to DHQ hospital where they breathed their last. The Sabzi Mandi Police have registered a case and started investigation.
YOUTH HELD FOR RAPE ATTEMPT: The police arrested a youth who allegedly attempted to rape an eight-year-old girl here in Garjakh area on Saturday.
The police said that the minor girl was playing in street outside his house. Finding her alone, the accused identified as Rizwan took her to nearby fields where he attempted to assault the girl sexually.
However, listening to the girl shrikes, locals and passersby gathered at the spot at which the accused managed to escape.

Later, the Garjakh Police arrested the accused and registered a case against him.
