Five abducted custom officials rescued in Quetta

The police rescued five abducted customs officials during a crackdown here in Quetta on Friday while efforts to rescue a custom inspector were underway.
It should be mentioned that unknown gunmen had kidnapped six custom officials including an inspector along with the official vehicles from Pasni area of Gwadar some five days ago.
The accused had shifted the abductees to undisclosed location but no demand was made for their release.
According to Deputy Commissioner Gawadar, Tufail Baloch, the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel continued raids and crackdowns for release of the kidnapped officials.
Meanwhile, the LEAs personnel on a tip off conducted raid at den of the abductors in Sunsetter area of Quetta during which five custom officials were rescued safely while crackdowns to rescue the kidnapped custom inspector were in progress.
DC Tufail Baloch expressed his hope that LEAs personnel will soon succeed to rescue the abducted inspector of custom department.
