Ulema’s role for peace sought

SIALKOT
Peace committees of Sialkot district have sought active cooperation of Ulema in forging religious harmony and brotherhood by respecting sentiments others.
The local elected representatives also urged the Muslim Ummah to be united and shun their differences for the glory of Islam and curbing the menace of anti-Islam conspiracies.
They said that the every person of the society should come forward to play a pivotal role to save the country from violence by promoting religious harmony. They said that Pakistan was passing through very crucial situation and the country cannot afford any Rawalpindi-like tragedy.
The peace committees revealed that the terrorists have no religion, as every religion of the world gives the lesson of love and peace and respect of the humanity. They added that the present wave of terrorism was a conspiracy against the nation.
They said that it was the demand of the day to forge unity in our ranks. They said that no one would be allowed to sabotage the peaceful atmosphere in the region.
Earlier, DCO Iftikhar Ali Sahu narrated that sectarian harmony and unity among the ranks of the Muslims was the need of the hour which could help resolved the problems being faced to the Ummah.
