Lahore- Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) leader Chaudhry Pervez Elahi still cannot believe that PAT chief had abandoned his sit-in in Islamabad.
Talking to journalists he said that the sit-in in Islamabad had not been winded up completely but called off due to Muharram. Criticizing ban on a private news channel, Elahi said the truth cannot be silenced by blocking the freedom of media. He alleged that the rulers were befriending terrorists through former Law Minister of Punjab Rana Sanaullah. “They do not care about the lives of the people”, he added.
The PML-Q leader said that the province with surplus of Rs. 400 billion is now facing a debt of Rs. 700 billion. He added that the funds of Local Bodies had been spent on Metro Bus Service.
Elahi added that Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif should have protested with CM Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch over the killing of Punjabi laborers in Hub.
He said Sharif government did nothing to improve education and literacy rate in Punjab and in the country as a whole.
