Two more gunned down in Karachi

KARACHI - Two persons including former activist of banned outfit Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) were killed in target killing incidents in different parts of the metropolis on Friday. According to details, an activist of banned outfit SSP was shot dead near Star Gate within the limits of Airport Police Station. Mohammad Nadeem son of Babu Khan was 40-year-old. He was resident of Sector 4, Saudabad. He was standing near Macro Departmental Store when two armed men reached and opened fire. Resultantly he received two bullets and died on the spot. After committing the crime culprits managed to flee. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities. Police said victim was the father of eight children. In another incident, police found a bullet-riddled body from Suparco Road, Mawach Goth, in the limits of Maripur Police Station. The victim later identified as 34-year-old Tariq son of Abdul Rasheed was the resident of Sector 10, Orangi Town. SHO Nasarullah said that the victims hands and legs were tied with rope and he received two bullets, adding that unidentified culprits threw his body from car and ran away.
