JI urges govt to ensure supremacy of Quran

SIALKOT-Saying that that Islam has the complete code of life, the Jamaat-e-Islami secretary general urged the government to ensure the supremacy of Quran and Sunnah in the country came in to being in the name of Allah Almighty.
Addressing the party workers, Liaqat Baloch asked the government to resolve the burning issue of Kashmir. Undoubtedly, he said, the water closure was a burning issue of the day as it had become a matter of national integrity. He added that India wanted to destroy Pakistani agro-based economy by stopping the water towards Pakistani rivers.
He said that Pakistan was passing through very hard time, due to promotion of national unity, faith, discipline, sovereignty and solidarity was vital for curbing the menace of the global anti-Islam and anti Pakistan conspiracies. He urged the Muslims to be get united and shun their differences in larger national interest and for the glory of Islam. He said that Islam has presented a global system of security and peace. He added that the terrorists had no religion, as every religion gives the lesson of love and peace and respect of the humanity.
He said that the present wave of terrorism was a conspiracy against the Muslim Ummah. He urged the Ulema to play a pivotal role to promote religious harmony, brotherhood, unity, faith and peace in the society. He said that it was the demand of the day to forge unity in our ranks.
BAGS’ ISSUANCE FROM 26TH: The issuance of the gunny bags to the wheat growers would begin in districts Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad and Gujranwala from April 26, 2014.
Gujranwala Division Deputy Director Food Naveed Ashraf told newsmen that the district administration and the Food Department had joined their special duties at the wheat procurement centres to curbe the role of middlemen in the procurement process. He said that preparation of the lists of the small wheat growers was underway by the department.
He added that four million gunny bags had reached in Gujranwala Division for their distribution. He revealed that the Punjab government had made some foolproof arrangements to ensure the direct purchase of wheat from the growers.
