A 10th class female student was gang raped by a police constable and the security guard of a mobile phone tower at New K-Block here on Wednesday.
People of the area nabbed them and handed over to Model Town police.
Marin Anum of Chak 453/EB had gone to the Government Girls High School for practical examination. However, security guard M Irfan bundled her on his motorcycle and took her to the mobile phone company tower premises where his accomplices Ali Raza, the police constable of the city police station, also arrived and allegedly gang raped her. Meanwhile, the people of the area gathered and caught them on the spot and handed them over to the police. Later, the police registered a case and produces them before the doctor at Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Burewala for medical examination. The girl claimed that the accused black mailed her for the purpose and harassed her with pistol as well.
DEMAND: Grind Millers Association President Rao Noor Muhammad Niaz emphasized that the grind miller should grind clean and free from aluminium phosphate wheat to avert threat to public health. He was addressing a meeting of the grinding mills owners of Burewala here the other day.
He asked the millers to advise customers that they should put aluminium phosphate tablets in clothe in wheat and should destroy it after using it.
The meeting was attended by SI Muhammad Hassan, Market Committee Secretary Sheikh Muhammad Younis, Chief Inspector Syed Muhammad Aslam Shah, Chairman Pesticides Dealers Nadeem Mushtaq Ramay, Inspector Abdul Rauf Bhatti and others.
