US interference in Pakistan affairs condemned

KARACHI A high profile 26-member delegation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Nazriati) on Tuesday called on Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Mohammad Hussain Mehanti at Idara-e-Noor Haq. The delegation was led by JUI-N Chief MNA Maulana Ismatullah while it comprised former Senator Hafiz Fazal Mohammad, Maulana Abdul Qadir Madni, Dr Abdul Wasey Shakir and others. Maulana Ismatullah regretted over the division of Muslims, saying that the enemy of Muslim Ummah had taken advantage of the division among Muslims. He said that America was involved in the killing of innocent Muslims across the world in the name of war on terror. He applauded the anti-American campaign of Jamaat-e-Islami to oppose the interference of America in the affairs of Pakistan, saying that 'Go America Go campaign of JI was need of the hour. Mehanti underlined the need of complete harmony among the anti-American forces in the country, saying that the politics of opportunism had damaged the image of religious forces. He said that the charges of corruption on religious scholars had defamed the image of religious people. He emphasised the need of unity among religious forces of the country.
