DCO ordered to issue Watan Cards to affected people



RAJANPUR - Lahore High Court (Multan Bench) Judge Ch Mohammad Younis, while disposing off writ petition No 8103, ordered Rajanpur DCO Ghazi Amanullah to issue Watan Cards to 1,181 flood victims of UC Kot Tahir as per survey list within 15 days.
Meanwhile, Jampur Assistant Commissioner Wahid Arjmand Zia told the media that the distribution of Watan Cards had been made easy.
He said the touts, who were trying to exploit the simple and illiterate flood affectees for cashing their Watan Cards, would be dealt with iron fist.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Nadra Centre Irfan Shehzad, after inspecting Jampur Centre along with Deputy Manager Hammad, told TheNation that all the flood-hit people who could not get their Watan Cards due to any reason can submit their complaints to Nadra Complaint Cell in the city as the cell would continue its operation for further 6 months. Assistant Commissioner Wahid Arjman Zia was also present there.
Jampur Nadra Centre Incharge Mian Ateeq Khwaja said that the authority’s office was providing the affected people services according to schedule.
He said to remove any objection on CNI Cards, the Nadra Centre had started urgent service on the payment of Rs1,000.
Nadra staff including Imran Anjum Qureshi, Mohammad Jaffar, Syed Wazir Shah, Syed Asif Shah, Mohammad Shakeel, Mohammad Umar, Mohammad Imran and Haraj Lashari was also present on this occasion.
