Drone, Nato attacks, MFN decision blasted


KHANEWAL: - The Jamaat-ud-Dawa and Difa-e Pakistan Council took out a rally against US drone attacks and the government’s decision to grant the Most Favoured Nation status to India here.
Hundreds of people participated in the rally holding banners and placard. Addressing the rally, speakers also criticised the Nato attacks on Pakistani checkposts. The ‘Difa-e-Pakistan Rally’ was taken out from Markaz Jamaat-ud-Dawa, Masjid Saddique-Akbar Tariqabad Khanewal. It was also attended by the activists of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat, Jamaat-e-Islami, Jamaat Ahle Hadith, Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam. They were chanting slogans against America and the government. The rally culminated at Chowk Sanglanwala.
Later, JuD central leader Hafiz Sultan addressed the gathering and said that the PPP government was working for American and anti-Islam forces, but people of the country, especially religious circles would never allow it to play with the solidarity of Pakistan.
JuD district ameer Saifullah said that Pakistan was established in the name of Kalma Tiyabba, and the people would never allow any ruler to favour pro-Jews elements and policies in the country. Irtifa Ziaullah and Mian Farrukh Rehman Kamboh of the Jamaat-e-Islam also addressed the rally.
