Contempt of court petitions against Nawaz Sharif and Yousuf Raza Gillani dismissed

Islamabad- Supreme Court (SC) has dismissed contempt of court petitions filed against Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and former PM Yousuf Raza Gillani in chairman NAB appointment case declaring them infractuous.
A three-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Asif Khan Saeed Khosa took up the case for hearing today. Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Sajid Bhatti appeared in the court and said that the chairman NAB has been appointed and therefore this petition had become ineffective. Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa remarked that both the petitions have become ineffective and therefore dismissed.
